On our South Coast tour our driver was Callum & our tour guide was Victoria. Victoria was friendly, witty & enthusiastic. She had loads of stories relating to all the places visited, plenty of knowledge and facts about the history of her homeland from back in the day to recent events. The weather was exceptionally warm, sunny with no wind!! As the weather was so perfect a couple little stops for scenic photos were given the OK by our very accommodating driver. The tour was very interesting and scenery amazing although there were time limits we did not feel rushed. All in all we had a magical day finishing off with a couple of Icelandic folk stories and lullabies for the journey back. A big thank you to Callum & Victoria for the tour – great play list Victoria – and we love your \’little rock\’. Read more

Read more

Just want to Thank Addi and Kris for the tour on Sunday 24th, If there was a rating for service it would be a 5/5 stars.
Lots of banter and jokes, very funny and entertaining.
Addi is very knowledgable, Others might find him boring, but its genuinely interesting. Throughout this trip I was hoping for someone to explain the tectonic plates and the direction Iceland sits on and he did just that. Not only told us where to go for the best views, He is a photographer!
As for the tour itself, this is where it disappoints. I believe the timing at each location is inadequate. we spent too long at the Secret lagoon and the geysir. I don\’t see why people will spend an hour and half in water where you skin is becoming wrinkly, so i spent 20min in the lagoon, then the rest relaxing and eating my lunch.
Kerid Crater, was a good amount of time.
the geysir was a too long as well, I understand this is where we were to eat and see, but its too touristy, so service is going to be long.the geysir were cool dont get me wrong. but after seeing it 4 times, then realising i got to wait a whole hour is a bit daunting.
the national park was cool but i wanted more time to walk to the waterfall at the end of the path.
the horses… I didnt even leave the coach to see them.
The waterfalls was gorgeous and amazing and time there was perfect.
4 of the sites were free if you had a car. For me the golden circle was an underwhelming experience. Again if there was a section of just service Addi and Kris desserve 5/5 stars. Read more

What a beautiful day to start compared to the previous windy days.
about a 2hr drive with a break halfway.
Alain the absolute deutch legend manage to tell us all sorts about iceland throughout the 11hr tour. From whales, sagas, geology, recommendation and even singing! very entertaining.
Got some see 7 fantastic sites (there were more but 7 were of highlight) these included an easy 20min “Hike” to see beautiful rock formations, seels and snow knee deep.
Glad to be apart of Alain rowing team!
Honestly glad that my other tour got cancelled to be arranged to this one.
Hopefully to see you again in June/September in the future 🙂 Read more
